“The power made available in the place of prayer is greater than the man that prayed”
Prayer is essential for couples in marriage and we need to understand that praying together connects our bond together. We need to see prayer as a means of communicating our minds to God together and we need to be engaged in it together. The time of prayer should be a time when we focus our minds and spirit together as we sought the Lord in prayers. One the things that build marriage is when couples get involved in praying in tongues, spending time together in the places of prayers in tongues. It channel their spirit to hearing the same thing that even when they leave the place of prayers their spirit gets in tune with the Lord as the Lord communicate His mind to them both. This will be amazing when you both say “the Lord said this and that to me” and it’s accurately at the same time and the same word by the same Spirit. This will draw your hearts together as you seek the Lord more for light for what He is saying and this could be that the Lord is calling your attention into something deeper and this may be a way to bind you more together in prayers.
- GET BUILT TOGETHER BY GIVING MORE TIME TO PRAYING IN TONGUES
There are some couples in scriptures that they grew together in a way that they both know the word of God and by wisdom could teach it, their exemplary life is so encouraging
Acts 18:24 And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.
18:25 This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.
18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: WHOM WHEN AQUILA AND PRISCILLA HAD HEARD, THEY TOOK HIM UNTO THEM, AND EXPOUNDED UNTO HIM THE WAY OF GOD MORE PERFECTLY.
This is very encouraging to see of this family, I love what they did but am much more interested in how they got there, both had the good knowledge of the word and then could explain at the same frequency of grace, I can tell that they pray more in the place of prayers and this could be what opened their hearts more to the Lord and to His Word.
It’s a great thing when couples learn to grow together in faith. This I see from the emphasis made about Sarah that by herself she received strength…
Hebrews 11:11 THROUGH FAITH ALSO SARA HERSELF received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
I love the word “Sara herself” this means there was a time that she leaned on Abraham’s faith but now through faith by herself she can receive from God. Now this often happens when husbands and wives are walking in faith and praying together. You get built to have faith in God together. The Bible says to build up yourself through praying in tongues.
Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, BUILDING UP YOURSELVES on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
As couples learn to pray together in tongues they get built up in faith, the other partner that is moving slowly gets build up in faith, you pick him or her up in the Spirit on the strength of the Spirit. When you keep praying in tongues together in the home it clears the wave to hear clearly and allows deep growth between husbands and wives, they get to pick the Lord faster together.
“Praying in tongues together level up your pace of growth”
When couples pray in tongues together and share the word, they are engraced with strength within, it’s a deep seed they are sowing into their growth together and their bond of peace in the unity of spirit
Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the UNITY OF THE SPIRIT in the bond of peace.
Praying in tongues together is one way to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Our thoughts begin to align together to thoughts of God and our hearts open up more to the Lord and His word. This is how to build yourselves together beloved.
