“We crave to get all things but we neglect what can bring all things to our door step”
The Kingdom of God is the key to any thing that we seek to get. Our desire will only become wrong when we seek first our things and not the things of the Kingdom of God. In fact the basic truth to our lives as believers is not to seek first our things but on the Kingdom and also to seek the things of others. The Biblical life style gives us a life that seek his own thing last. We seek a lot of things, and truly when our hearts are exposed we shall see the true nature of our hearts but we must clearly position our hearts to seek the things of the Kingdom of God first, Jesus said
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
“To have a Gentilic life is to seek what the Gentiles seek after things and not after the Kingdom”
Jesus speaking to us, said to seek first the Kingdom of God, we must learn to put the first thing first, Rev Kenneth Hagin taught me that and am beginning to live by it. When Jesus said first He actually meant first. We knew that Paul also said about the first of all…
1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, FIRST OF ALL, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
We must learn to be intentional about practicing the “first thing first”, we will live a quality life by doing that. When we begin to yield our hearts towards this, we will pick up to doing it till it becomes a life in us. Seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness is what will chart our course to all other things. We are not supposed to run after things but things are to run after us which we often take the reverse order. Truly we can seek the Kingdom of God first today and His righteousness. To look at it a little what does that means? It means to stand for what heaven stand for, to look straight to the will of heaven and to seek after what God can give.
Satisfaction comes by staying on what heavens gives and not by other things we seek after.
What cause the problem of not seeking the Kingdom of God first is the thoughts of tomorrow, so Jesus captured that in word that we should take no thought for tomorrow but that it will take the thought of the things of itself. This tomorrow here means to me like a care, so it means that care will that thought of the things of itself.
6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
“God has placed on the tomorrow the ability to take care of itself for us”
Looking at this scriptures it brings to mind that God has made arrangements for things of tomorrow through tomorrow. Jesus said for tomorrow shall take thoughts of the things of itself. So it means the “tomorrow” has the power to think, it can actually take care of the things of itself. Can we tap into this rich resources of heaven of how the tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself, remember that this is the tomorrow Jesus said we shouldn’t think about! This tells that all we need to do therefore is to seek the Kingdom of God first as the tomorrow shall take thought of the things of itself. We must not ask how or doubt God’s word but rather take to the truth of God’s word.
Lastly, we saw Jesus saying that guys, come this Kingdom that I ask you to seek first, it’s not hard, but that you must believe and come into it that is My Father’s will which is to give you the Kingdom of God that I told you to seek, then He begin the word with fear not
Luke 12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
So if it is His Father’s good pleasure to give us the Kingdom of God then we need to actually become a seeker of the Father because as we seek the Father, He will reveal it to us. We must become the seeker of the Father to receive the Kingdom, for when we have the Father we have the Kingdom, for me, I love to have the real source of a thing than just the supply of it and so remember He is a diligent rewarder of those that seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God reward diligent seekers! Seek the Father to obtain the Kingdom of God. Be blessed!
