“Just the way Jesus dealt with sin once and for all in our lives, He also dealt with sickness once and for all in our lives”
It is important to know that sickness are not from God, if God hath made Jesus to carry them like He took our sins to the cross and then finished the work of sin, then God won’t lay sickness on us again. The word told us that
Isaiah 53:4 SURELY He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrowsand pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healedand made whole.
The scripture says “Surely…” meaning certainly, Jesus has borne our sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses. It’s not an argument because we KNOW that SURELY He has borne them. That He borne them SURELY gave us assurance that our sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses through the stripes in His body with which He borne them we are healed! Learn to take God’s word the way it is. Kenneth Copeland said we are not just to stand on God’s Word alone, we must learn to rejoice at God’s word. Remember this scriptures you have just found it, and what finding a word does is to bringing rejoicing. Jeremiah said he found the word and he eat them and then it moved him to rejoice
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and THY WORD was unto me the JOY and REJOICING of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.
And when you learn to rejoice at the finding of God’s word then you receive. Receiving comes when we learn to rejoice, so rejoice that SURELY Jesus has borne your sickness. Be blessed!
