“We must be able to see that the work that we do in the ministry is the same though one plants and the other waters”

I think one of the major reason we have so much division is because we have not seen that our work in the ministry  is the same through different means. We have looked at a part of this study on BUT GOD… And you’ll do well to read it. So let’s see

  • LET THERE BE NO DIVISION

“What has made us this far from ourselves is because we do not understand that we are one even when our ministry in the body is different”

One of the things Paul said to the church is to ensure they allow no divisions in their midst but they should speak the say things

1 Corinthians  1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be NO DIVISIONS AMONG YOU; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

There is division now because we don’t know we are actually one especially in the work that we do as ministers in the body of Christ. So Paul was saying that we should ensure to be perfectly joined together in the same mind, this is powerful. To be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment. We will do this when we learn of Christ, because what God says is also what Jesus says and what the Holy Spirit communicate to us is what Jesus is saying even Jesus’s judgement comes from the Father

John  16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

John  5:30  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

So if we can link our ministry to how the  Godhead is, there will be no divisions among us.

  • UNDERSTANDING THAT IN THE WORK WE DO WE ARE ONE.

“Our work of ministry may look different but they are the same. The skill of the Lord is, when one ministry is lacking or needed the Lord raising another one”

The Lord is a wise God, He ensures that nothing is missing in the ministry of the church, when a gift in the body of Christ is becoming little He will raise another one up and then ensure the hands are full, all equal and complete and the beauty of ministry is seen when different ministries see themselves as one and then come together in that mind. You know what Paul said about the ministers that plants  and the minister that waters is that they are one, he didn’t say they are different but One. In fact the first one he used for them is that they are nothing except God that count the most on the work that different people does

1 Corinthians  3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

3:8 Now HE THAT PLANTETH AND HE THAT WATERETH ARE ONE: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

“Increase will come upon the Church ministry as we see our work as one”

The very good mind to see that we are one is to see the Lord that gave the increase because the work of the ministry depend on increase and not just in working but increase, where the one that plants and the one that waters both look to God for increase. So, Paul said he that plants and he that waters are one. These tells that the one that plants and waters are different in the sense that they do different work but they are actually one because they work for God and they are both labourers in the field of the ministry of God.

1 Corinthians  3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

Let’s see ourselves as labourers together with God, for by this increase will flow ceaselessly upon the church.
