“When we define our state of existence in Christ then we will actually live as we ought to live”

Every child of God is a believer and there are ways by which we must live and we will see specifically how a believer should live. We must understand that our lives are based on either to live or to die. Paul said to live is Christ and to die is gain.

Philippians  1:21  For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

We must therefore understand that it’s either we live or we die. But whichever way it is, it falls in a progress with God.

Now very quickly lets consider these two means by which a believer should live.

  • LIVING BY EVERY WORD OF GOD’S MOUTH

“We can only have a life well spent when we live by every word that proceed out of the mouth of the Lord”

Jesus said to us how we ought to live not just by bread alone

Matthew  4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDETH OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.

The scripture says every word that proceed out of the mouth of the Lord, that’s how to live! Our hearts must learn to be moved beyond bread but be moved by the word of His mouth. Our hearts must learn to attend to the word of God and to His sayings

Proverbs  4:20  My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

We must learn to esteem His word more than bread, we must learn to esteem His word and respond to it more than clothing, food, money etc the way to live is to live by every word that proceed out of His mouth and esteeming His word more than any thing in this world.

Job  23:12  Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

To esteem the words of God’s mouth than our bread is to take heed to obeying His words. We must understand that when we take heed to the words of His mouth and we obey it, that’s when we are actually living as a man. This means when we don’t live by the words of His mouth we are not living. For man to live, he must learn to live by the word of God’s mouth. We can’t claim to be living and live out of the word of His mouth. We must become a people that love to find the word of God’s mouth and then begin to eat it by meditating on it and obeying His word.

Jeremiah  15:16  THY WORDS WERE FOUND, AND I DID EAT THEM; AND THY WORD WAS UNTO ME THE JOY AND REJOICING OF MINE HEART: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

Obedience to the word of God is by the eating of the word of God, we must eat the word of His mouth in obedience till we live to obey every words that proceeds out of His mouth like Jesus did.

  • LIVING BY FAITH

“The breathe of a believer is faith, when you take it away from him he is a dead man”

That a man dies is not until he loses his life but when he loses his faith. A man that has faith is better in a million times than a man that lives in doubt. You can’t live by doubt and excel in God, doubt will take you no where in God, but faith takes you to God. So we understand that it is now that the just shall live by faith not any time but now(Read HAVING THE NOW FAITH

Hebrews  10:38  NOW THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Now is the time to live by faith as believers. The breathe of the believer is faith and when we live by faith we live indeed. Paul said the life he lives NOW he lives by the faith of the Son of God

Galatians  2:20  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

To live by faith is to live NOW by faith, and to live by faith is to live by the faith of the Son of God. That’s how to live daily.

So we understand that we actually live by every word of His mouth and we live by faith, even by the faith of the Son of God. These two are ingredients to our living, we can’t live well without faith in God and by every word of His mouth. We live truly by acting on every Word of God’s mouth and acting by faith in His word.
