“Giving and prayer are two words that can never be separated”

When it comes to giving, it is the life style of God’s people in the kingdom of God, for which our salvation came by. If giving was never in place, salvation might never have been the way to redeem man from his sin and like someone said that “the highest gift that was given was the gift of the Son” which I agree. We may never understand some things unless we key to giving and it goes beyond your money, but yet I’ll speak about the giving of your money. When it comes to this aspect we tend to push it aside but the truth is that’s not the way to live, the way to live is to live by a life of giving, being liberal.

We see in scriptures the life of a man that make us to understand that giving and prayers go hand in hand, for which to have access into unanswered prayers we must keep to this giving and prayer. Let’s see the scriptures

Acts  10:1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,

10:2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, WHICH GAVE  MUCH ALMS TO THE PEOPLE, AND PRAYED TO God ALWAY.

10:3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

10:4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, THY PRAYERS AND THINE ALMS ARE COME UP FOR A MEMORIAL BEFORE GOD.

You see that? Prayer and giving must go continuously. This scriptures says he gave much alms to people and also pray always and then when the angel came, he said no other thing first but to say that “thy prayers and thine alms are come up for up for a memorial before God” this to me means as prayers are being offered up, giving too must be offered it. The scriptures says

…And he said unto him, THY PRAYERS AND THINE ALMS ARE COME UP FOR A MEMORIAL BEFORE GOD.

“Giving goes up, prayers also goes up”

They both come up, prayers goes up and giving also goes up. You remember in revelations

Revelation  8:3  And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

8:4  AND THE SMOKE OF THE INCENSE, which CAME WITH THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS, ASCENDED UP BEFORE GOD out of the angel’s hand.

The demonstration of our faith towards God should not just reflect in our prayers towards God but also seen in the demonstration of our giving towards the Lord. Understand that giving always goes up and also your prayers always goes up and God will always remember all this and bring you always a blessing.
