“The power made available in the place of prayers, is greater than the man that prayed”

As we seek the Lord in prayers to receive of Him, it’s dearly important that we as children of truth must obey truth, by obeying God’s word. From God’s word we see that we can actually receive what we ask for, which are boldly written in God’s word but there is something that is important which is: OBEDIENCE. No father love to give joyously to a disobedience child, which is the way it is with our heavenly Father. He will be unjustified to do so.

We see in scriptures where it was said that as we ask in faith, we therefore receive

1 John  3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, BECAUSE WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, AND DO THOSE THINGS THAT ARE PLEASING IN HIS SIGHT.

Clearly, we see that, we receive because

  1. We keep His commandments and
  2. We do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

Now, we need to get something here, which is very important; which is to keep to obedience and to do things that are pleasing in the sight of God. For we to receive anything at all of the Lord. We must be obedient children of God and we must live in holiness and in truth. No wonder God never close His eyes on Jesus request for once. Even Jesus knew this, He had to change His request at Gethsemane because He knows God will answer it. I keep wondering, God answered all the prayers that Jesus prayed. We must be confident in prayers to the point that, if we carelessly make a  wrong prayer point, we will quickly ask the Father not to do it. If we must receive anything at all, we must keep this two things in mind and live according to them. Don’t be deceived, God loves obedience and a Holy life! It’s not enough to know that if we ask we receive. But to know that actually what made Mathew 7:7 possible is because we kept to obedience and in a holy life before the Lord. Keep the faith.
