The engagement of the heart in the place of prayer is very important, for when we have received the revelation of God’s  word we must learn to go by the word and then stay on that word as we pray.

“Get into prayer not to change things in your environment but to get revelation from God. When you try to organize it with your own hands, you produce bondage in your life.” – Pastor Poju Oyemade

Believers have prayed and yet we have not received answers, many might have even said God’s word is not true. I have applied the word, as the word of God said to ask and you shall receive and I believe I have received yet there is no corresponding answer my prayers. We have had confidence in the Lord through His word that He will yet answer but yet no result and we have even placed this scriptures before us

Matthew  7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

1 John  3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1 John  5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

We have even tried to avoid what James said, that we should not have a double mind if we must receive from God.

James  1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

We have avoided this in the place of prayers, we have even taken note of what may hinder us but yet there is one more thing which we have to see which has being the major hindrance to why we have not yet received of the Lord.

To avoid this being too long for readers, so we consider to break this into series.
