“To secure a blessing we must stay at expecting end to receive them”
God blesses His people when they have an expectation. It’s moves God’s heart to grant our desire when we pray to Him. We need to stay in a position of faith where we are very expectant of what the Lord will do. Just to name a few of the expectation end
“The practice of waiting is the practice of believing” -Pst Poju Oyemade
One of the things that kills our receiving is being hasty, when I read the accounts in Babylon it is their culture to be hasty. Things are done with much hastiness and we must practice patience as God’s people. Patience is what breaks the power of being hasty in us to release the beauty of our expectation rather than being hasty and be out of faith. Patience is the strength of faith. The Bible says he that believes will not make haste
Isaiah 28:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: HE THAT BELIEVETH SHALL NOT MAKE HASTE.
Being patient is one of expecting end of receiving from the Lord, our faith works well when patience is in place.
Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
So we see that receiving connects with being patient and patience is an act of faith. When we are out of patience it tells we are out of faith.
- Laughter and Joy
“There is nothing that I laugh over that remain the same” -Poju Oyemade
Laughter is a spontaneous experience that release the outburst of the Spirit of God in us. Scripture says you’ll laugh in famine and destruction
Job 5:22 At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.
Even as we expect the Lord to helEven with my supervisor not presenting to us as we pray to Him and things do not seem to change, what we need to do is to stand on God’s Word and then rejoice or laugh over any negative outcome of things that we see even as watch the Lord change that situation. Laughter changes our mood so to speak and then ignite in us an ability and a ground to believe God. Some things come to reduce our faith but a rejoicing heart will break it power and release in us the power of the Spirit of the Lord.
