“The gospel is not to be hid but to be made open to all, that’s how salvation comes on the platform of grace. Grace is the door for salvation. When it is locked the light of Christ will not shine on men but when it is opened for access then darkness will be driven away from people’s heart”

Until believers learn to give occasion for the gospel we ourselves may place men in darkness unknown to us. Believers can themselves hid the gospel from men when they try to hid the true light they have and then mingle with the world when they ought to express the true light. We must understand that men loved darkness and what it gives. The hope of taken men from darkness is to give them light. When men do not give in to light then they settle for darkness and until believers arise to change it by the preaching of the gospel men will be in the outer darkness. What we must leave to pursue is to ensure this gospel is not hid. The Bible says if it is hid then it to them that are lost

“Light is he revelation of who God is” -Rev Helen Oyegoke

2 Corinthians  4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

“Until we see that a people are lost we may never arise to revealing the gospel of Christ”

The truth is how can the lost hear the gospel if there is no one to preach it to them, how do we expect it to be revealed to them that which is hidden if we don’t tell it to them.

Romans  10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

That’s why I said a believer also can hid the gospel from the lost by not reaching out to them. How can they even believe in Jesus when they have not heard of Him.

“We must bring men to the place of hearing the gospel by reaching out to them through the light that we possess”

We understand that the gospel is hid because the devil has blinded minds from hearing it and until men arise to preach the gospel men will be in prison of darkness.

2 Corinthians  4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

“The essence of blinding the mind of the people is to turn them against God”

The things happening around us tells that the devil has placed the mind of people against God. They have gathered themselves up, researching to ensure that their science is true even more than the gospel and the Bible. But at their foolishness the church and God will laugh.

Psalms  2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

None of them was there when he founded the earth. He knows the whole measures of sand and all of it.

Job  38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.

38:5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?

Men need to see the light of this gospel and live by that light. The light is the light in the face of the Jesus Christ and what it does is to turn men to see light when it shines in their hearts

2 Corinthians  4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

“The reason the devil will fight the gospel is because of the work the gospel will do: to shine light to the heart of men, to give them life abundantly and to make them become Christ”

We must also understand that in preaching the gospel of Christ we do not stand to preach our church denomination but Christ because in the preaching of our church to men we preach ourselves hence we violate the essence for the gospel.

2 Corinthians  4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

“Men do not turn to God by preaching our church but they turn to God by preaching Christ”

So when we preach the gospel we must lay aside our church and them erect Christ in the heart of men because what will change men is not our church but Christ that we preach through the gospel of Christ.
