“When there is order in your life, you’ll be godly. -Pastor Segun Obadje”

We won’t shy away from saying that scriptures boldly said that the salvation we have obtained is an ETERNAL SALVATION and REDEMPTION which was bought for us.

Hebrews  9:12  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, HAVING OBTAINED ETERNAL REDEMPTION FOR US.

Hebrews  5:9  And being made perfect, he became the author of ETERNAL SALVATION UNTO ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM;

So it’s clear from God’s word that is true and we can go on to show you more from God’s word. I must establish at this point that salvation is a calling, that’s why we hear “altar calls” in church, for people to come and give their lives to Jesus. It’s a call from something into another thing.

Let’s get it straight here “once saved , forever saved” into what? You see, the problem with believers is that we don’t ask good questions. Scripture says clearly that salvation is a calling. Being called out of darkness into His marvelous light.

1 Peter  2:9  But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him WHO HATH CALLED YOU OUT OF DARKNESS INTO HIS MARVELLOUS LIGHT:

By being saved we are being translated/transferred from darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son.

Colossians  1:13  Who hath DELIVERED (SAVES) US FROM THE POWER OF DARKNESS, AND HATH TRANSLATED US INTO THE KINGDOM OF HIS DEAR SON:

So you will see that salvation is like a movement from something into another thing. You change habitation. It’s correct to say, SALVATION MEANS TO CHANGE HABITATION. You’ll notice the word “called out into” and “delivered us from and translated into”. So from darkness into light, translated from darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. So if we are once saved, forever saved. The next question should be into what? Sin? To continue in sin? You’re joking! Scriptures says He has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness.

1 Thessalonians  4:7  For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

“The physical character of God whenever you see Him is not love but holiness. That’s why angels don’t cried “Love, love Almighty but Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty. -Pastor Segun Obadje”

We understand that salvation is a calling from something into another thing. So the scripture says God did not call us unto uncleanness from uncleanness. But from from uncleanness unto holiness. The truth is, the fact that some folks have injured the message of grace by taking it to the extreme does not make it untrue. Grace is still grace. You can do nothing against the truth. You know grace and truth are brothers. Bible says grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. The message of grace is still true no matter the extreme men have taken it to. A friend of mine Temitope Ayodeji said this and I agree “grace is a teaching that makes us deny ungodliness and worldly lust. The product of grace is holiness”. Whenever we stop the message of holiness, we will have the message of uncleanness to take over the church. When you see folks that hate messages on holiness, check correctly such will embrace the hyper grace message. I will never say “once saved forever saved” is not true but I will ask you “once saved forever saved into what?” since you now understand that salvation is a calling from something into another thing. We are a called out people from darkness into light. Saved from the power of darkness and we have experienced a translation into the Kingdom of His dear Son. We are saved into holiness because God has not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness. Live correctly!
