“The prayer made available in the place of prayers is greater than the man that prayed”

There are a lot we see about Jesus prayer and we need to learn from it and live by it. One of the very important aspect of prayer is

This we see that Jesus put to practice whereby he went to pray to the Father by first separating Himself from people.

Luke  5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

Luk 5:16 But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (NIV)

We must learn to separate ourselves from people for a time to go and pray, to be alone with the Lord. Jesus withdrew Himself from people to lonely places and then give ourselves to prayers. When this kind of life is cultivated it will reflect in us a quality life and our prayers mostly should be that Christ be formed in us, to see the glory of His face and not just for things but mostly for deep things of God. I don’t feel a time when we separate ourselves for prayers should be for just asking for things from the Lord to our lust but to earnestly desire the eyes of our understanding to be opened,  to come into visions and revelations of God.

There are times that Jesus even sent people away to go up to the mountain to pray and He went till it was evening alone with the Father.

Matthew  14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

The question is what was He praying for? Our prayer life must shift from just desiring things but to desire the Lord.

Rev(Mrs) Helen Oyegoke said we have believed God for our natural needs and it worked, it is time to believe God for God.

We must not just learn to separate ourselves for prayers but we must pray prayers that turn us to God always such that our inner man is built. We have a wrong configuration that when we don’t pray for our need we have not prayed at all and that God will never meet them. Whereas God’s word clearly states that God knows that we have need of these things and that they will be provided for if only we seek the kingdom which He is willing to give us. But the truth is, our most holy need is the Lord.

We saw in a place where Jesus prayed and His sweat became blood, the thing is the prayers He offered won’t be any how prayers but a prayer which  is for his soul to be saved.

Luke  22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

We need to be given to prayers whereby we set time to separate ourselves for prayers. Jesus is the perfect example for us for which His prayers never end here for us but scriptures make us to know that He is praying for us at the right hand of God.

Hebrews  7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

“Jesus prayer life is the perfect example for how the house of prayer should be like which is the church”

The priestly prayers of Christ is what we must take after and we will see that the Lord will keep us till our prayer life reflect the face of God in our hearts and in our conducts as believers.
