“Unless we understand that God hears us as we pray, we may keep believing that God has not heard”

When the answer came to Daniel for his desires, God sent him an angel that God answered his prayers from the first day he prayed.

Daniel 10:12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: FOR FROM THE FIRST DAY THAT THOU DIDST SET THINE HEART to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, THY WORDS WERE HEARD, and I AM COME FOR THY WORDS.

So, it clear that God hears our prayers from the first day we prayed. The very first day! No wonder David said

Psalms 65:2 O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.

God hears prayers and we must understand also that God’s ears are opened to our prayers.

Psalms 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and HIS EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR CRY.

1 Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and HIS EARS ARE OPEN UNTO THEIR PRAYERS: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Notice those two scriptures didn’t say “His ears are opened but open” it means the very moment you pray.

Let me show you more emphatically that God hears your prayers right from your heart and as a matter of fact, Daniel’s prayer or commitment to prayer started from his heart.

Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

That’s why when Jesus talked about prayer He said believed that you received your request.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

What we need to do at receiving is to stay in Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a act of faith that enforce our receiving physically.
