“To get God’s direction, you must forget or put apart your own wisdom”

One of the ways men err is to use their own wisdom without acknowledging the Lord. You hear men say that “use your brain” but when it comes to knowing the mind of God and receiving directions from Him. You must learn to drop your own understanding. Our own understanding is a trap. Especially when man gains knowledge. That knowledge could become a trap for me against God, because there is something he now knows but God is not against our “knowings” but, if only we can learn to acknowledge Him.  Let’s see the scriptures

Proverbs  3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

At least the word “all” appeared twice here. It appeared in the place of our hearts and also our ways, which means we must learn to trust God with ALL our hearts without wavering. Also, we must learn to acknowledge Him in all our ways. To acknowledge here is to drop what you know seeking what He foreknow. You remember, He foreknow all things. When you seek Him, He won’t just be thinking to give you the answer because He already have it. Drop your effort to obtain His direction. I feel one of the easiest thing in life, is to get direction from Him that already have it than to meet a man that will just be thinking about it.
