“Our labour is not the same as the labour that God sent us to enter into”
Clearly speaking this does not fix us in a position where we should be lazy and expect to enter into the labour of others. Even though entering into a thing that we do not work for is good, it should not make us lazy not to labour in God’s kingdom. We must have a commitment in the kingdom whereby God rewards our diligence by making us to enter into the labour of others. Even though we see men of old times like Abraham, who obeyed God and became the father of all nations by which he became a blessed man, so much that our being blessed have a link to what he has done through obedience. One of the plan of God is to save all men and how that the Gentile nation too are not left out, so the plan is to make them enter into the blessing of Abraham
Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
3:14 THAT THE BLESSING OF ABRAHAM MIGHT COME ON THE GENTILES through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
So we see that the labour was first for all the people of God by which God hath to bring the Gentiles into it through the death of Christ. So we understand that Jesus said one sow another reaps. This has always been the wisdom of God to bring men into a possession through His divine mercy.
John 4:37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
4:38 I SENT YOU to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and YE ARE ENTERED INTO THEIR LABOURS.
You see the word, “I sent you…” it requires to be sent to enter into the labour of others. One of the ways to be effective in the ministry is not to be anointed but rather to be sent. God does not send a man Who He has not anointed and the danger of our age is to go onto ministry when you are not yet sent, this often results to wasted labour that brings little harvest. When a man has been sent there is such that he does that the Lord cause it to increase. We must understand that the major work of God in ministry is to be sent by Him and then we get our increase also by Him. This is because God is the One that gives the increase
1 Corinthians 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
When we understand this then we will understand that the purpose of Him sending us also is to enter into the labour of others. God will not send us and not place us into a labour to enter into because that is what will make the work of the ministry effective in our hands. You just continue in that might and Spirit where all you do is engraced by the Lord. You can’t enjoy ministry without God sending you to enter into the field where you enjoy the labour of others and that others means a father, someone who has gone ahead. For this has been God’s idea to make us to be impactful in the ministry, we flow under being sent and under the labour to which He made us to enter into. He positions some men to labour then we enter into it, the thing is we also need to be committed because God will raise another man after a time to enter into our own labour too, that’s being God’s way of holding the young ministers, so much that when that person ministers people will see the link of the father God has made him to enter into. That’s why God made Paul to labour on the foundation then you don’t have to do anything on foundation again but to build upon it. That’s how God works, He must bring you to the labour of others, that’s why Paul told Timothy also to ensure he commit the things he has learn to faithful men who shall teach others. God does not send a man without making him enter into the labour of others.
