“The strength in wisdom is submission and it looks foolish”
Wisdom has been seen often to being smart but truly is not just being smart but to become a fool. The word of God tells us to be wise in this world we need to be a fool.
1 Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among YOU SEEMETH TO BE WISE IN THIS WORLD, LET HIM BECOME A FOOL, THAT HE MAY BE WISE.
So what does that means? We should be acting like foolish people all around? Let’s see this points
- THE WISDOM IN BEING A FOOL
We shall consider just two things on this
1. Holding your peace
Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
“The strength in being a fool is to hold your peace by that you’re wise”
Often people may cause us to be angry and to speak foolishly but the wisdom in this is to hold our peace to watch the reward of the wicked. The Bible says even a fool when he hold his peace he is counted as being wise. That’s a strength on its own. Let’s see what Job have to say.
Job 13:5 O that ye would altogether hold your peace! and it should be your wisdom.
It’s clear that in holding our peace it is our wisdom. Wisdom lies on the scales of holding our peace.
2. Submission is foolishness
1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
“Submission of a higher life it comes by being low, for in it hidden wisdom lies”
What hold the power of death is submission. Jesus submitted to death and then was made higher than death. If God’s foolishness can be wiser than the wisdom of man then the foolishness of God must be learn, it is called foolishness because man will never love that way except he learn to submit to it. The strength of Jesus lies on submission. Submission is foolishness because naturally man hate to submit and people love to cheat folks that are submissive. That’s why when Jesus held His peace ad then submit to death the regret of the wicked one because hath they known it
1 Corinthians 2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Being a fool hid wisdom within, people will count us as fools but in God’s sight we are wise and by that you do great things by being a fool through submission. To be wise in this world, it is therefore necessary to hold our peace, the great strength in holding our peace is stronger than war and also submission as power that can keep a man. Always keeping in mind that what this world counts as wisdom is what God sees as foolishness and what God sees should be what matters to us and not what the world sees even though it is accepted.
1 Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
